What is a Scrabble Bingo?
A bingo (also called a bonus) occurs when you play all 7 tiles from your rack in a single turn. This earns you a 50-point bonus on top of the word's regular score. In competitive Scrabble, top players average 2-3 bingos per game. The key to finding bingos is recognizing common letter combinations (stems) like SATINE, RETINA, AINERS that form many 7-letter words.
